I enrolled in a SnapIT training class for the purpose of learning a new hobby. I had never considered a career in the tech field. My class experience was amazing. We met Monday-Thursday for nine weeks all day long. The class was virtual, so I was in a comfortable place and able to adjust my environment as needed. SnapIT provided all the tools needed for the class, including my laptop! The instructor was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable of the topic and met the students at our level at the start of class.

I wasn't sure what to expect from a fully online course, especially a technical one. My fear was that it would be a lot of reading and not much interaction with the instructor. However, I was pleased to find that the instructor was fully engaged on a daily basis. Additionally, he was very knowledgeable and able to bring real world experiences to the classroom. Overall, I found the class to be challenging. I especially enjoyed the hands-on projects.

Before starting this journey, I was lost, sinking into an ocean of jobs I wasn’t happy with. I did them to pay bills and make a living for my family. I didn’t have a career. I frequently fantasized not about working but about living with a job that I enjoy waking up to and being happy with at the end of the day. After thirty-plus years of unhappy job hopping, I landed at SnapIT. There I found my calling. There I found and finally achieved “my happy.” In as little as six weeks.
