A Technology Readiness Initiative Funded by ADOPT 2.0
The SPRNT® Lab ADOPT 2.0 Technology Readiness Program connects Kansans to technology learning pathways by combining access, assessment, and applied learning. Fully funded by the ADOPT 2.0 grant, the program aims to support 500–750 Kansans statewide.
Through the program, eligible participants receive a loaner laptop for four weeks and access to the SPRNT® Lab digital learning environment — where they can explore technology careers, build fundamental web development skills, and receive a personalized technology skills report.
This initiative supports students, jobseekers, and community members seeking to build digital confidence and move toward careers in technology — while helping schools and workforce agencies expand access to meaningful tech training.

Through SPRNT® Lab, participants complete a 30–45 minute guided assessment to measure digital aptitude, learning style, and readiness.
Receive a detailed report outlining your strengths and which technology career areas align best — such as Web Development, Cloud Computing, or Data Analytics.
Participants receive a Dell Inspiron laptop on loan for up to 4 weeks. Devices are pre-configured with everything needed to complete the program.

All Kansas counties are eligible to participate in the SPRNT® Lab ADOPT 2.0 Technology Readiness Program.
While the program is open statewide, a majority of device distribution will be prioritized for the below six counties that show higher economic distress based on unemployment data:
