A Career Training Program Administered by MiLEAP
Whether you’re looking to start a new career in IT or level up your existing skills, the Michigan Achievement Skills Scholarship is designed to help Michigan residents transition into high-demand careers.
Through the program, eligible participants receive a loaner laptop and access to the SPRNT® Lab digital learning environment — where they can explore technology careers, build fundamental web development skills, and receive a personalized technology skills report.
SPRNT-Lab® is proud to be an approved provider offering career training programs, and this funding covers your training costs!

Through SPRNT® Lab, participants complete a 30–45 minute guided assessment to measure digital aptitude, learning style, and readiness. You'll receive a detailed report outlining your strengths and which technology career areas align best.
Submit a Michigan Achievement Skills Scholarship application via the MI Student Aid Student Scholarships and Grants portal. If approved, you will receive a notification of eligibility.
Participants receive a laptop on loan for your course needs. Devices are pre-configured with everything needed to complete the program.
Access SPRNT® Lab’s courses, including Foundations of IT Support Specialist, JavaScript Development, C# Development, and Java Development.
At the end of your loan period, return the laptop and receive guidance on the next steps toward advanced training or career readiness through SPRNT® Lab.

All Kansas counties are eligible to participate in the SPRNT® Lab ADOPT 2.0 Technology Readiness Program.
While the program is open statewide, a majority of device distribution will be prioritized for the below six counties that show higher economic distress based on unemployment data:
The SPRNT® Lab ADOPT 2.0 Technology Readiness Program, fully funded through the ADOPT 2.0 grant initiative, intends to support 500 – 750 Kansans statewide by providing access to modern laptops, technology readiness training, and digital skills development.
Each participant may keep the loaner laptop for up to 4 weeks during their program cycle.
